Hi my name is Ogo, welcome to the University of Kent's Canterbury campus. So this is Templeman Library, it's got so much study spaces for you and your friends to get some work done, it's got over a million books and journals for you to do your work and also the library staff  are a dedicated team of people to help you and answer any questions that you might have. So welcome to the Plaza, this is normally where the hub of activity takes place on campus, there's loads of places to eat and drink with your friends, there's also a book shop and also one of the two of the Co-ops on campus. So behind me is the Sports Centre, here at the University of Kent there's something for everyone, there's a gym, fitness and dance studios, martial arts training areas and even the physio clinic – with sport and fitness at the University of Kent, you name it, we got it! Not far from the sports centre you have Parkwood student village. Parkwood is an amazing place to meet amazing people, I met some of my best friends here in my first year. There's other areas to live on campus such as Keynes, Turing and Darwin. Parkwood  is next to our campus pub, Woody's, which is a great place to relax and socialise with friends. So, across the street from Parkwood, you have the sports field and the Pavilion. On Wednesdays sports teams can be found training or playing against other unis, in quieter times it's a great place to chill and keep to any social distancing rules. So we're back in the centre of campus and we're outside the Gulbenkian. The Gulbenkian is a place of entertainment here on campus, it's a  cinema, it's a theatre, it's also got a music hall called the Colyer Fergusson, which will all be open once lockdown has been eased,  but the Gulbenkian has so many shows, whether that's comedy, theatre, dance and if you're part of a performance society here at the University of Kent you might have the opportunity to perform here just like I did when I was a student. So, saving the best place for last, it's many people's favourite places on campus, it's the one and only campus green, it's got a wonderful view of the Cathedral, plenty of wide open space and what better view to have of the city of Canterbury!
