>> The Gulbenkian is an arts venue on campus at the University of Kent. It has a theatre and cinema and it also has a cafe/bar restaurant on site. >> So there's a lot of festivals at the Gulbenkian if they're at the theatre or the cinema we had Breakin' Convention and it was a festival for hip-hop. >> We had a lot of artists, we had students getting involved as well. We had graffiti outside. >> There's also the boing festival - that's coming up at the end of August. It's a festival for kids and their families. >> One of the good things about the Gulbenkian is that we have acts and production companies, theatre companies coming all across from Europe. >> And as such the Gulbenkian is recognised by the Arts Council as a regional and national leader in the arts. >> For students especially it's a great place to come for live music. There's a lot of evenings that we have organised with the Beautiful Town Music. >> It supports local artists and musicians and bands. It's a great place to discover new music and support young artists. >> As a theatre in a cinema on campus it's a great opportunity for students to take advantage of the facilities. >> There's a lot of societies like the Drama Society that perform here at the theatre. >> One of the offers at the Gulbenkian for the cinema is the Two for Tuesdays, so it's two tickets for the price of one on Tuesday nights. >> We also have special events like Mean Girls sing-along and Rocky Horror Picture Show which is a great opportunity to just do something different on campus. >> I think it is a great place for students to come because it's cheap, there is a lot of opportunities for you to get involved and there is obviously great coffee. And it's just right here on campus.
